GAME CHANGERS BXL

CREATIVE NEGOTIATION SKILLS & EXCHANGE WORKSHOP SERIES
Haute École Francisco Ferrer
Erasmushogeschool Brussel
Feb 23/Mar 2/Mar 9/Mar 16

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Are you a second or third-year student at Haute École Francisco Ferrer or Erasmushogeschool? Would like to improve your confidence in negotiation? Would you like to practice speaking English and meet students from another school in Brussels? If so, please contact your school’s program organizer for a nomination and apply now.

In this interactive 4-part program, participants will learn and practice an interest-based method for problem-solving negotiation developed at the Harvard Negotiation Project. Together we will explore and practice creative negotiation skills through role plays, games, and simulations – and connect to our personal and professional situations and challenges.

  • Week 1. Know Your Game: Through interactive exercises and role plays, we’ll explore key assumptions and choices in negotiation and how we can get more creative and achieve better results.
  • Week 2. Creative Negotiation: We’ll learn and experiment with a method for thinking about problem-solving negotiation developed at Harvard University and expand our negotiation toolkit.
  • Week 3. Getting Ready to Negotiate: Putting into practice tools we’ve explored, we’ll practice preparing and debriefing a negotiation together.
  • Week 4. Negotiation & Leadership: We’ll deepen our communication skills for positive influence and leadership and consider next steps for applying what we’ve learned.

Throughout the program, in addition to strengthening your own skills, you will have the opportunity to get to know other students in a unique and fun learning and relationship-building experience.
